EdelCoach ("we", "us", "our") operates the EdelCoach coaching management platform. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), role (coach or parent)
• Athlete data: name, date of birth, position, jersey number — entered by coaches
• Session data: training logs, feedback notes, mood ratings
• Billing data: payment details processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken (for diagnostics and improvement)

• To provide and operate the Service
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To enable coaches to share athlete progress with parents
• To send transactional emails (password reset, invoice receipts)
• To improve the Service and fix bugs

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• MongoDB Atlas — for database hosting (EU region)
• Vercel — for application hosting

All processors are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.

The Service is used by coaches to manage youth athletes. We do not knowingly collect data directly from minors. Athlete records are created and managed by coaches, who are responsible for obtaining appropriate consents from parents or guardians where required by applicable law.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
